2007 Mosrite USA Ventures Model American Standard Mark I 1963 Sidejack w/ Case & Tags
Produced by Mosrite licensee Fillmore in Japan, the "USA" line was made in exceedingly small quantities. While the hardware and bodies/necks were produced to high standards by Fillmore in Japan, these guitars were purportedly assembled by Semie Moseley's daughter, Dana Moseley, in the USA. All USA-spec parts were used in the wiring harness as well. Dana was an employee of Fillmore at the time, and this partnership ceased in 2015, shortly before Fillmore's era of Mosrite production ended.
Tonewoods include a basswood body with prominent German Carve, a maple neck, and bound slab rosewood fingerboard, yielding a smooth, balanced acoustic tone. These tonewoods provide an ideal platform for the single coil pickup pair which offers plenty of power, percussive cut, and sparkling treble. Weighing 8lbs 11oz, this Mosrite has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mikeās Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
