2000s Mosrite Ventures Model 1964 Vintage Reissue V-64 Pearl White w/ Vibramute & Case, Fillmore
Few guitars have a more storied history than the Mosrite brand, especially in the modern era, and this particular guitar is a rare, upper-tiered model crafted by Fillmore in Japan. Perhaps best known for being imported to the USA by Ed Roman and also for their partnership with Dana Moseley, Mosrite founder Semie Moseley's daughter, Fillmore crafted extremely faithful Mosrites, worthy of Semie Moseley's legacy.
The stock pair of single coil pickups have ample power and midrange content, wound properly to vintage-spec and metering at just under 12k ohms. These single coils are meaty and rich, with tons of twang and a broad bass register not often afforded a single coil, providing an authoritative sound that's quintessential Mosrite. Weighing 8lbs 13oz, this Mosrite has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with fresh 10-46 strings, low action and spot-on intonation.
