1966 Rickenbacker 335 Jetglo Vintage Semi-Hollow Guitar 100% Original w/ Toaster Tops, Case

1966 Rickenbacker 335 Jetglo Vintage Semi-Hollow Guitar 100% Original w/ Toaster Tops, Case

Up for sale, a 1966 Rickenbacker 335 in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. This vintage Rickenbacker boasts a gloss Jetglo finish, Toaster Top pickups, and an Ac’cent Vibrato.

The guitar delivers plenty of treble articulation and cut, but also a natural warmth and sonic breadth indicative of a guitar that's had decades to open up and resonate maximally. The Toaster Top alnico magnet pickups deliver sparkling cut and chime with sweet sustain and a distinct sound in every pickup position, yielding quintessential Ric jangle. Weighing 7lbs 5oz, this 335 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.

Neck Specs:

-Wood: Maple/walnut
-Shape: Medium C, measuring .860ā€ 1st fret, .910ā€ 12th fret
-Fretboard: Rosewood, dot inlay
-Frets: Slender, leveled/crowned, faint wear on frets 1-2
-Scale Length: 24 3/4ā€
-Nut: 1 5/8ā€

-Plastics: Reflector cap knobs, two-tier pickguards, ā€œbatonā€ switch tip
-Serialization: FL-prefix on mono jack plate translates to August, 1966

A ā€˜60s Ric with a notably good (and original) neck set, action is ideal in all registers and the bridge has room for future adjustment. The gloss Jetglo finish is 100% original with no touch-up or overspray, exhibiting limited wear through the finish along the edges. The guitar shows some buckle rash central to the back and some minor dings and finish scuffs. The neck profile has a worn-in, easy-playing feel, with a few shallow marks on the profile length worn smooth through contact with the palm.

The original silver tolex hardshell case is included. The case is notably clean with black leather ends, functional latches and the original handle.
