Up for sale, a 1997 Fender American Vintage '62 Stratocaster in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with a Fender/SKB molded hardshell case and hangtags. This discontinued USA-made Stratocaster model features a gloss Candy Apple Red nitro lacquer finish, loaded with 57/62 single coil pickups.
This Strat can chime, sparkle, and quack with the best, delivering an array of classic Fender tones. Whether it's the biting twang of the bridge position, the extra warmth and girth that comes from the neck single coil, or the thinned-out quack on the "in between" positions on the five-way switch (original three-way included), this Strat is simply a delight to play. The instrument is very resonant acoustically as well, weighing 8lbs 6oz with an alder body. This American Vintage ‘62 Stratocaster has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action and accurate intonation.
