1983 Fender JV Stratocaster '57 Vintage Reissue ST57-65 100% Original w/ Fullerton Pickups, Japan MIJ Fujigen
This alder-bodied Strat has a balanced, lively natural acoustic quality which translates faithfully through the trio of single coils. The Fullerton-made single coils feature the hallmarks of ā50s Stratocaster production, with staggered alnico magnets, black fiber bobbins and push-back, cloth-covered leads. Thereās a distinct sound in each position on the three-way pickup selector, from sparking chime to bell-like percussive cut, and cheating the āin-betweenā positions yields hollow quack. Weighing 7lbs 15oz, this ST57-65 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mikeās Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
