1975 Burny FLG-70 Les Paul Standard Vintage Guitar Cherry Sunburst, Near-Mint w/ Case, Japan Fernandes
Up for sale, a 1975 Burny FLG-70 āLes Paulā in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. Produced by Fernandes in Japan, Burny has long been celebrated for crafting some of the most impressive ālawsuitā Les Paul iterations on the market. This is a particularly early example, still retaining the Les Paul branding on the āopen bookā headstock.
The traditional tonewood complement includes a maple top, solid (non-weight relieved) mahogany body, one-piece mahogany neck, and bound rosewood fingerboard, and this FLG-70 weighs 9lbs 11oz. The pair of LP-1/LP-2 humbuckers are wound firmly in the PAF camp, delivering the smooth treble articulation, airy low end warmth, and tailored midrange clarity of that design, with a notably spongy chop at the bridge and rich breadth at the neck. This FLG-70 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mikeās Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
