Up for sale, a 2019 Gibson SG Modern in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and hangtags. This forward-thinking, reimagined iteration of the SG platform boasts a mahogany body with a AA flame maple top, loaded with contemporary features including a pair of calibrated Burstbucker Pro Alnico V humbuckers with independent coil taps, 24-fret ebony fingerboard with compound radius, asymmetrical SlimTaper neck profile, Grover Rotomatic locking tuners, and a gloss Blueberry Fade nitro lacquer finish.
The ebony fingerboard ensures this SG Modern has an immediate, glassy cut, paired with the midrange warmth of the mahogany body and neck. The Burstbucker Pros are a slightly hot-rodded version of Gibson's Burstbucker PAF, with unmatched bobbin windings and Alnico V magnets (in place of the usual Alnico II).
