1985 Korg Octaver OCT-1 Guitar Effects Pedal Near-Mint w/ Box, Octave
Up for sale, a 1985 Korg Octaver OCT-1 in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original box. This somewhat obscure Korg pedal is a no-frills effect, generating a note one octave below the input tone, with simple Direct Level and Effect Level controls to dial in the right mix of wet/dry. The OCT-1 has great tracking, designed to keep up with any speed of playing, and essentially gates the input signal via the divided octave-down, resulting in notably smooth operation. Additionally, the two-way polarity switch ensures compatibility with any sort of pickup (or alternative instrument).
There is only light wear on the sides of the enclosure, with pristine graphics and the original pair of knobs. There is a sticker on the inside of the baseplate dated to the 60th year of the Showa era (translating to 1985).
The original box and packaging is included.
